GDevCon ANZ #3 is fast approaching, and we couldn’t be more excited! Join us in Melbourne on October 27–28, 2026. The schedule is coming together – read on for the latest updates.

GDevCon ANZ #3 – What to expect

The themes for this year include:

1. Security – how to be ready for EU CRA by December 2027
2. Frameworks – explore different LabVIEW frameworks
3. Case Studies – see how others are making great applications with the NI ecosystem
4. Software Engineering – CI/CD and DevOps

This rough schedule for this year is

• Monday 26 October 2026 (Optional):
  • NEW! NI Certification exams – heavily discounted if you purchase a GDevCon conference ticket.
  • Hands-on basics workshop (free)
• Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2026 (Conference)
  • Keynote

  • NEW! Deep dives– break out into groups and deep dive on a topic. Topics could include AI, CI/CD, Frameworks, or nominate a topic

Venue Confirmed

Our venue for this year’s event will be Cliftons on Collins. Cliftons have been great to work with, helping to plan a conference that is unique to us.

Cliftons have two floors of conference/training/meeting/exam room/etc. space, in the heart of Melbourne City, making it easy to access via public transport, or allowing out-of-towners to find plenty of accommodation options nearby.

Early Bird Tickets on sale 1st May 2026 

Early bird tickets for GDevCon ANZ #3 go on sale on the 1^st of May.

Early bird pricing will end on 30^th June 2026.

Ticket categories include:

Presentation submissions close 15 May 2026

We’re keeping presentation submissions open until the 15^th May. If you’re considering putting a presentation submission in, now is the time! Simply go to our web site and fill out the Call for Presentations form. If you are successfully accepted to do a full 45-minute talk, you will gain free entry to the conference. Or if you just want to dip your toe in the water, consider a 7-minute lightning talk.

If you’re not sure what you could present on, check out the themes listed earlier in the newsletter, and see if you can find something that fits into one of those categories.
