| Bakir Babic – National Measurement Institute | Development of Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Solutions for a Custom Designed Microscope The National Measurement Institute Australia developed its metrological scanning probe microscope (mSPM) to push the boundaries of accurate dimensional metrology at the nanoscale and give Australian industry and researchers confidence and international comparability for their nanoscale length measurement. The PXI Express platform and LabVIEW offered a versatile solution to establish the data acquisition and signal processing system for the laser interferometry component of the mSPM. The solution was cost effective, efficient to develop, and integrated easily within the complex instrument. |
